Well in most of these religions all women were subordinate. In Christianity the women had to always serve the men. In Confucianism women had to be obedient and listen to whatever the husband says. In Buddhism Women kept being what they were "workers in the house" mostly. Hinduism the women were technically equal, however they were treated differently. In Jainism all people including women were equal in the eyes of go. However like always women were subordinate.

Almost all religions before, women were subordinated to their husbands, fathers, or, sometimes, even to their sons. This means that female were UNDER men. Although some religions said women were equal to men, equal in spritually, but they actually treated the women as their property.

In all the religions, women were seen as less than men or not equal to them.
I think Christian and Confucian women had fewer rights than the rest. (Not sure)

In all of these religionas women were subservient to men. Even in some of them where supposedly women were equal, they were seen as having two main roles: Being good mother and wife meaning that they stayed home and did all the household chores and rather than being their own individual, they were property of their husbands.
